||The San Gabriel Trail is a mostly-concrete path that connects many Georgetown parks, and Booty's Road Park is near the eastern end of the trail. To the east, the trail runs a little over half a mile and ends in a neighborhood. Just north of the trail to the east of the parking lot are paths into the woods where an obstacle course has been laid out. The underbrush has been mostly cleared, and you have a good line of sight. Watch for white-tailed deer there. To the west, the trail reaches the dam in about half a mile. The trail turns north at the dam, and you can follow it to other Lake Georgetown parks or turn east on Booty's Road and make a loop back to the parking lot.
Booty's Road Park is one of the parks on Lake Georgetown that are connected by the
Good Water Loop of the San Gabriel River Trail.
